El Ordenador

  1. Motherboard o Placa Madre: is the main printed circuit board (PCB) found in general purpose microcomputers and other expandable systems.


   2. Microprocessor o Microprocesador: is a computer processor which incorporates the functions of a computer's central processing unit on a single integrated circuit or at most a few integrated circuits.


   3. Zócalo Socket: In computer hardware, a CPU socket or CPU slot comprises one or more mechanical components providing mechanical and electrical connections between a microprocessor and a printer circuit board.








  4. BIOS: is non-volatile firmware used to perfom hardware initialization during the booting process and to provide runtime services for operating systems and programs.





   5. RAM o Memoria RAM: is a form of computer data storage which stores frequently used program instructions to increase the general speed of a system.





  6. Hard Drive o Disco Duro: is a data storage device that uses magnetic storage to store and retrieve digital information using one or more ridig rapidly rotating disks coated with magnetic material.




7. Sound card o Tarjeta de sonido: is an internal expansion card that provides input and output of audio signals to and from a computer under control of computer programs.


8. Ethernet card o Tarjeta de Ethernet: is one kind of network adapter. These adapters support the Ethernet standard for high-speed network connections using cable connections.




9. Switch: A network switch is a computer networking advice  that connects devices together on a computer nertwork by using packet switching to receive, process, and forward data to the destination device.


10. Parallel cable o Cable plano: often used to connect internal computer peripherals.





11. Power supply o Fuente de alimentación: is an electronic device that supplies electric energy to an electrical load. The primary function of a power supply is to convert one form of electrical energy to another.



12. Keyboard o Teclado: is a typewriter-style device   which uses an arrangement of buttons or keys to act as a mechanical lever or electronic switch.

13. Apple: is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services.



14. Pendrive o Flash Memory: is an electronic (solid-state) non-volatile computer storage medium that can be electrically erased and reprogrammed.

USB connector o Conectores USB: is an industry standard that defines cables, connectors and communications protocols  for connection, communication, and power supply between computers and devices.

16. HDMI Cable o Cable HDMI: is a type of digital connection that is capable of transmitting high-definition video and high-resolution audio through a single cable.

17. Router: is a networking advice  that forwards data packets  between computer networks.





18. Wi-Fi card o Tarjeta Wi-Fi: is a computer hardware  component that connects a computer to a computer network.
